Report of our trip to ECUADOR: September 4-7, 2008
Candy had the opportunity visit Ecuador during the month of September. She was one of the speakers for the First Annual National Convocation of Generals of Intercession directed by Melba Jácome. Candy participated three times where she shared Conquering the Heart of the King: Dressed with his Favor, Dressed with his Glory, Dressed with his Power. Candy brought a prophetic word for Ecuador during the last session of the conference. Other speakers from this event: Wanda Rolón from Puerto Rico, Andrea Francisco from Argentina, and Jeannet de Pin from Ecuador.
Events during the trip:
- Women’s Conference ¨Conquering the Heart of the King.¨ It was a conference in which women from all of the provinces of Ecuador, even of the very distant ones, made their way to the event. Not only did 1400 women attend the conference, but so did Christian and secular television networks, who approached us and interviewed us in the Conventions of Guayaquil. Later I did a TV interview which was a great opportunity for us to share about what God thought about the present situation in the country at the moment in time. During the conference the women were very animated and strengthened during that time. The women were challenged at the conference to put themselves in a position to change the kingdom for God, whenever he puts them in influence, whether it is in their families or in society. It was a well organized event that included a wide variety of music, preaching , drama, and dance. In this event, I preached on the them “How to Conquer the Hart of the King” which has resulted in the creation of a new series of that talks about the themes: Dressed with Favor, Dressed with Gloria, and Dressed in Power.
- I had the opportunity to participate with Melba Jácome on a TV show on the local Enlace network. I also had the chance to appear with he on a radio program.
- I preached at two services at the Galilea Church in the afternoon and evening. God moved in a special way that it encouraged the people to go out to do something in society and establish the Kingdom of God. There were approximately 80 people who got saved, and 94 received immediate healing after the people prayed for each other for healing. It was an amazing evening in the presence of God.
- I also recorded a TV interview regarding the prophetic, for the programs of the Galilea Church Media Ministry for a program on a secular TV Station.

I can say that Melba Jácome has a great passion and burden for her country. During the conference she was recognized by the Pastors and ministers for her example of passion and zeal in becoming an influential leader in her country. Her ministry is called “Generals of Intersession”. The event as a whole was such an impact to Melba at a personal level that she decided that it was time to impact her country.
The Ecuadorian women are learning how valuable and precious they are before God’s eyes and how God wishes to use them to change their country.
I enjoyed ministering at Galilea Church. It is a blessed church! The presence of God was there!
Prayer Request for Ecuador: Please pray for Ecuador where just recently new laws have been approved that doesn’t benefit or bless the country but are morally incorrect. Pray that God helps the church come up with a strategy to get the nation back towards Godly ways.
Next October 2009 Candy will be going back to Ecuador to minister at the Women Conference and also in the Galilea Church.
