Report of our trip to Peru on February 24 -March 1 of 2009:

 

Trip to Perú:

 

It was a joy for Kess-Jan to be able to go for the first time and minister in Peru. We were able to preach along with other local apostles from the organization Ministerios la Luz, with the apostle Antonio San Cristobal of Argentina, and the apostle David Lozano, from Atlanta. The conference was at the national level, and from all the provinces came pastors and leaders to celebrate in Lima, the capital of the country.

 

It was an honor to be able to preach with them and with all the pastors, leaders, and brothers from all the provinces in Peru.  We enjoyed being with the leaders and seeing how they are growing in the ministry. The ministry has a platform to influence the country and not only the local churches.Something that touched us was that each province brought fruit from their own land. It was as if they had brought it for God as an offering of appreciation. It reminded us of how, in the bible, the people would bring there first-fruits to the tabernacle.

 

We could say that Peru is a country very rich in the blessing that God has given to their land in fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, etc. The flavor of the food is delicious, second only to Spain. It’s wonderful to see the process of growth of everyone in the organization; from the students of the ministry school, to even their teachers. God is taking this organization to another level. There is a spirit to serve and to conquer the country for God. During that time, God provided the way for them to get a transmitter for the television, which will allow them to transmit there channel in all the city of Lima. They had radio transmissions in all of Peru and only television transmissions in the provinces.

 

This visit was very intense; we participated 13 times in 5 days!

 

  • They celebrated the anniversary of the organization.  The event lasted 4 days.  Christians from all the provinces arrived. On this occasion, we spoke a lot on leadership and gave prophetic words over some of the provinces.
  • We conducted a radio program, Luz Radio.
  • On Saturday night, we ministered words of prophecy to men and women of business in the hotel.
  • On Sunday, we ministered in the services at church and gave prophetic words over the organization, the apostles and the women pastors.
