We can certainly say that in 2009 much faith will be needed from our part in order to see all the promises that God desires to do through us, even though circumstances may come our way which may appear to be the opposite.

Teachings at the Institute Christ for the Nations, CFNI

 

This semester we will continue to give classes at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX. We are both giving classes. Kees-Jan is teaching a class on Media (Communications media) and Candy is teaching on Intercession.

In the newsletter for this month we will be sharing reports on the trips to Mexico and Columbia.

 

Report on the MEXICAN TRIP from October 28-31

 

Candy participated as a speaker in the Women's Annual Conference "Dressed with Power" in the city of Saltillo, Mexico, organized by the Apostle Lili Galindo. Many women pastors and women from different provinces in Mexico came to this conference. In attendance were approximately 2000 people.

Conference in Barranquilla, Colombia
Report on Colombian trip on November 16-20


Candy de Maa participated with other speakers in a Women’s Conference in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia. This conference was organized by Margarita Cepeda de Freyle and was called the 2nd Regional Conference of Deborah’s Militants for the Kingdom. There were approximately 2000 women in attendance at the conference.
 
Kees-Jan de Maa also participated as a speaker along with the Apostle Jorge de Freyle in the first Men’s Conference called “The Keys of the Kingdom”.

Our Family – Trip to Europe

 
In the recent Christmas vacation, we had the opportunity to return to Europe with our family after 5 ½ years. In actuality we are living in the United States, hence we haven’t been able to leave the country as a family in these years. Candy had to go to Spain 2 years ago and for that reason was given a Visa in which she has been able to travel. The rest of the family has just recently received their permission papers to travel. We just got our Green Card, for the residence, for all of us. Praise to the Lord!
 
The ability to go to Spain and Holland gave us the opportunity to visit with family, friends, and minister in the churches. It was wonderful to visit with our children the places where we had lived prior to living in the United States.
In the following newsletter we will talk about and show photos and videos concerning this trip.

Personal Testimonies

 

- We recently received our Green Cards (Residency of the United States)!Glory to God!

 

- Jonathan really enjoys the School of the Supernatural in Redding, CA. God is using Jonathan in accurate words of knowledge and healing. For example, last week, Jonathan prayed for 3 people via Face Book and the same 3 people were healed instantly! The Lord has no limits!

 

- Melody is writing her own songs and lyrics that are inspired by the Holy Spirit. Melody also started her first official job at a restaurant. Her plan is to save money for next year, in order to attend Bill Johnson’s School of the Supernatural, in California.

 

- Tamara´s testimony: The four months I have been living in Dallas with the Maa family has been like an "open heart surgery" in my life.  Before I arrived, I knew God was organizing it and that there was a purpose. Nevertheless, I couldn’t imagine that everything was directed to my heart and my spirit.
 
I have known the Lord since I was a little child and it could be said that I have lived under Christian standards considered "correct".  Through Fulfilling Destiny Ministries and the corresponding training, I have had months where God has clearly spoken about the type of life he has designed for me.  It’s a life where it is not enough to have "integrity", but it is a life where God designed for me to produce changes.  It is a life for me to achieve in the spiritual world, as well as, the natural world; (listen to the teachings of Apostle Kees-jan about the Kingdom of God).
 
In order to be able to influence by being light & salt for the people around me, I needed a new heart, and I needed to surrender my "ego" to Jesus.  I thought about all the things I did as a teenager, but I now understand that what I needed was to experience a personal reencounter with my heavenly father. It happened!
 
I am very grateful with the De Maa Family and my "church family" of B.N.in Las Palmas who have invested in my formation.  I am very excited about putting into practice all that I am learning.  My time in the United States has pointed me in a new direction that will change my future, as well as, my generation."

February 24 - March 1. PERU - Lima. Ministerio la Luz. Women´s conference. Annual Convention of the organization. Canal 49 TV Inauguration. KJ and Candy.

 

February 10. USA - Dallas. TV Enlace. Candy will participate live in the TV Show ¨Guardianes del muro¨hosted by Juanita de Gonzalez at 2:30 pm.

 

MARCH:

 

March 6. USA - Dallas. TV Enlace. Candy will participate live in the TV Show ¨Guardianes del muro¨hosted by Juanita de Gonzalez at 9:00 am.


March 14-16. NICARAGUA, Managua. Pastors and Leader´s Conference organized by Jeaqueline Aguirre, Ministerio León de Judá. Candy will be ministering in this event.

 

March 19-23. MEXICO - D.F. Company of Women Conference, organized by Juanita de Gonzalez. Candy will be ministering in this event.

 

March 28. TEXAS - Dallas. USA - Dallas. Kees-Jan will marry Chris Mc.Kinney and Laura Kidd, a wonderful couple from GI Ministries.
